Renault unveiled the Renault E-Space Concept, a futuristic family vehicle, for the first time anywhere at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, which runs from Oct. 12 to 18 in Paris.
The company said on Oct. 13 that it has set up a 2,500-square-meter exhibition space at the show to present a range of electrified models based on Future Ready, the group's mid- to long-term innovation strategy.
Now in its 91st edition, the Paris Motor Show began in 1898 and ranks among the world's oldest auto exhibitions. This year, more than 100 companies, including about 60 global automakers, are displaying new vehicles, concept cars and future mobility technologies.
The Renault E-Space Concept is a modern reinterpretation of the Renault Espace, which launched in 1984, and reflects the company's core values of human-centered innovation and in-car experience. Built on the brand philosophy of being a car for everyday life, it combines design with practicality and points to the direction of future family vehicles through a spacious interior and a comfortable atmosphere.
Renault is also exhibiting two concept cars that reinterpret its heritage in contemporary terms. The Renault 8 Gordini Concept reimagines the Renault 8 Gordini, a symbol of French motorsport in the 1960s, as a two-seat all-electric coupe. The Renault 4 JP4X4 Concept is an outdoor concept car based on the Renault 4 E-Tech electric.
Other electrified models on display include the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, an electric sports car that reinterprets a legendary high-performance hatchback from the 1980s, and the New Renault Trafic Van E-Tech electric, named International Van of the Year 2027.
"Guided by the philosophy of a car for everyday life, we have consistently introduced innovative electrified models and built a competitive product lineup across key segments centered on electric vehicles and hybrids," said Fabrice Cambolive, chief executive officer of the Renault brand. "We will continue to offer customers longer driving range, higher efficiency, reasonable prices, stronger connectivity and greater driving pleasure through new launches and improvements to existing models."
