Morrisons has gone all out with its new Christmas sandwich, packing an entire three-course festive meal into one very ambitious creation. There's a prawn cocktail starter, a full Christmas dinner and even a cheeseboard-inspired finale. But there's one really crucial course missing: dessert.
The new Festive Triple Sandwich (£4.40 for the trio) is the headline arrival in Morrisons' 2026 Christmas sandwich range, and it's definitely doing things differently. The first layer takes inspiration from a prawn cocktail, with prawns, Marie Rose sauce and lettuce on oatmeal bread. Next comes the main course, combining chicken, cranberry chutney and stuffing mayo (yum), before the final layer moves on to the cheeseboard with Wensleydale and cranberry, real ale chutney and mature cheddar. You can obviously choose to eat these in any order you like, but Morrisons really did miss a trick with a sweet layer in the mix.

With sweet sandwiches having a serious moment, why stop at the cheeseboard? A trifle-inspired layer with custard, berries and sponge could have been the ultimate finale, or perhaps something inspired by Christmas pudding, with spiced fruit, pudding crumble and a little brandy cream.
Sadly you'll have to wait until 16 November to try the Festive Triple Sandwich, but the wider Christmas sandwich range has already launched. It costs £4.40 on its own or £5.50 as part of the premium meal deal.
