The "Someone Else's Shoes" quest in Arc Raiders will have you running around Stella Montis searching for androids on Celeste's behalf, as you try to find out more about something called Project Pathos. Stella Montis is infamously one of the most difficult maps in Arc Raiders though, so unless you know exactly where to go, this quest can be a severe pain in the backside.

We're here to help though, so here's a complete walkthrough for "Someone Else's Shoes" in Arc Raiders, including where to find the android in research lab three and where to find the control room in the Western Tunnels.

'Someone Else's Shoes' quest steps in Arc Raiders

There are only three steps in the "Someone Else's Shoes" quest in Arc Raiders, and they don't have to be completed in one go. However, they must be completed in the following order:

Scan any android on Stella Montis.
Find the android in research lab three in the Medical Bay.
Reach the control room in the Western Tunnels and search for clues.

The left-hand side of the image shows the player in Arc Raiders standing next to the objective required for the "Someone Else's Shoes" quest while the right-hand side shows the location marked on the in-game map with a star.

Stella Montis has androids scattered all over the place, so you should be able to find one with a little searching. However, if you're struggling, there's one at the southern end of the Sandbox (pictured and marked on the map above), or you can also find a few in the Archives and Medical Research.

Where to find the android in research lab three in the Medical Bay

Research lab three is in the southeastern section of the Medical Research location, which connects to Cargo Dock A. Head inside and look for the third bed behind some blue curtains. There's an android on the bed that you can approach and interact with.

Where to find the control room in the Western Tunnels

Finally, you need to reach the Western Tunnel, which is on the lowest level of Stella Montis and acts as a connector between the Lobby Metro in the northeast and the Loading Bay in the middle of the map.

The control room is the well-lit room in the middle of the junction. Go inside and interact with the prompt to retrieve security footage to complete the quest. Return to Celeste to get 5,000 XP, three herbal bandages, two shield rechargers, and a Stella Montis Medical Storage key for your troubles.
