Kaley Cuoco, 40, welcomes second baby after 'wild up and down journey' — see unique name, first photos

Congratulations are in order for Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey!

Kaley, 40, and Tom, 44, have become parents once again, taking to social media to announce the birth of their second child, a baby girl named Philomena.

Along with several photos of the newborn, both in the hospital and at home, Kaley introduced her second daughter on Instagram as "Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey," revealing she was born on October 12.

"There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing," she gushed. "We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete! Time to bring Matilda's baby home!"

Reserving some words for her fiancé Tom, she added: "@tommypelphrey life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever, girl daddy!"

Tom took to Instagram with some more photos and wrote beside them: "Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey. Another miracle. Welcome to our family youngest queen!"

"Kaley you showed up in every way as a partner and a mom even when you weren't feeling your best- you’re a CHAMPION. The girls and I would be lost without you. Thank God for the gift of this family and these girls."

The pair were inundated with congratulatory messages, with Kaley's The Big Bang Theory co-star Kunal Nayyar commenting: "LOVE YOU SIS," Ashley Benson adding: "Ohhhh she's just a doll congrats you guys," and even Taylor Lautner saying: "Congrats!!!!!!" shortly after welcoming his own first child with his wife Tay.

Tom on how they're prepping for baby #2

The couple's last public appearance before becoming parents again was at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards this September, where Tom took home his very first Primetime Emmy, shouting out his pregnant fiancée in the crowd as she teared up.

He spoke with E! News after the big moment and shared an update on how they were preparing for baby #2. "We're both so excited," he said. "Our daughter's excited."

"We'll see how it goes when the baby actually gets there, but switching rooms, swapping things around and laughing at how different it is from one to two," the Ozark star continued, explaining that there are some "things that feel like not a big deal this time" compared to their first child.

Tom said that his biggest hope was that "mom and baby are healthy," and mentioned that he and Kaley already had a name picked out for their second baby, although quipped that it won't be "Emmy" after the big win.

"That was not the plan," he continued. "We have one. We always leave open the possibility that she'll sort of declare herself. So we'll see."

Kaley and Tom's relationship timeline

Kaley has been married twice before, first to Ryan Sweeting and then to Karl Cook. She went public with her romance with Tom in May 2022, first being introduced on a red carpet a few months prior.

Soon after, they revealed they were expecting their first child together, welcoming their daughter Matilda Carmine Pelphrey in March 2023. In August 2024, they announced their engagement after over two years of dating.
