By Zoila Palma: Mopan Technical High School will host “Raíces: A Cultural Evening” on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Cancha Marshalleck, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The event will celebrate the diverse cultures of Belize and Central America through cultural presentations, displays and interactive booths.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase food and drinks while enjoying an evening dedicated to showcasing our rich cultural traditions and heritage. The school is inviting families, students and community members to participate in the celebration.
Admission is $2 for the general public, while students with valid identification and children aged 10 and under will pay $1.
The event aims to bring the community together to honour cultural roots, share traditions and promote appreciation for the diverse cultures that shape Belize and Central America.
