Tusker FC suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tanzanian side Singida Black Stars on Sunday, in their second round's first leg of CAF Confederation Cup preliminary at the Nyayo Stadium.
Jeancy Mboma scored the only goal in the 52nd minute to give Singida the crucial win ahead of their return match in Tanzania, in contest for a ticket to the competition's group stage.
Tusker will need to win by at least two goals in the second leg if the Ruaraka Brewers are to secure a place in the last 16.
