Declan Rice scored an 82nd-minute equaliser as Arsenal fought back to secure a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in a thrilling UEFA Champions League encounter at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.
Eberechi Eze opened the scoring in the 25th minute for Arsenal, but Alphonso Davies levelled back for Bayern following a superb pass from Harry Kane.

Kane then put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot in the second half before Rice struck late to earn Mikel Arteta’s side a valuable point.

Bayern were without in-form winger Michael Olise, Germany captain Joshua Kimmich and midfielder Jamal Musiala. Coach Vincent Kompany, who had been a doubt because of illness, was fit enough to take his place in the dugout.
Despite those absences, Kane remained a constant threat against Arsenal’s usually resilient defence, delivering another influential performance for the German champions.
The England captain’s penalty was his 16th goal in 23 appearances against Arsenal and extended his scoring streak to 10 consecutive Champions League matches.
He moved within one game of the competition record of 11 successive scoring appearances, set by Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Real Madrid.
The draw represented only the second time Arsenal had dropped points in 12 matches across all competitions this season.
The result denied Bayern victory on home soil and demonstrated Arsenal’s ability to recover under pressure, with Rice’s late intervention keeping the contest finely balanced until the final whistle.
