AUSTIN, TX — Ole Miss football defensive lineman Will Echoles briefly exited the game against Texas.
No. 7 Ole Miss (5-1, 3-1 SEC) plays at No. 18 Texas (4-2, 1-2) on Oct. 24 (6:30 p.m., ABC). The game is at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Echoles exited the game early in the third quarter. He was taken to the locker room. Echoles later returned to the Ole Miss sideline and has entered the game again as a fullback on an offensive package halfway through the third quarter.
Echoles is projected as a first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
