There may be quite a lot going on in the world right now, but Trump is laser-focussed on the things that matter — one of which is apparently the renovation of a golf course in Washington D.C. Seth Meyers is, unsurprisingly, unimpressed.
"So gas is over $4 a gallon, inflation's climbing, the Iran war is deadlocked, measles is spreading, AI might kill us, and there's a new strain of drug-resistant, sexually-transmitted diarrhea – sorry to be the bearer of that news – but don't worry everyone, there's going to be a new golf course close to the president's office!" says Meyers, blowing a party popper while confetti rains downs.
"Republicans must be so happy that Trump is finally giving them a closing message to run on. Michigan and Texas are going to be filled with lawn signs that say 'Fore! More years?'"
