Häcken’s women are following the Stockholm derby on a big screen, but right now it doesn’t look like the players will be able to celebrate a second straight Swedish Championship title on Saturday.
"You’re always excited to celebrate, but right now it doesn’t look so bright. We might have to wait for that," Häcken coach Elena Sadiku told SVT after the first half.
Second-placed Hammarby took the lead in the 18th minute when Ída Hermannsdóttir fired in from distance. In the 40th minute, it was 2–0 after Djurgården midfielder Emma Holmqvist headed the ball into her own goal from a Hammarby corner.
"Bajen" need to drop points for Häcken to be crowned champions on Saturday. Three rounds remain in the women’s Swedish Championship after the weekend.
It’s halftime in the match at Hammarby IP, and the home team is leading 2–0.
