Solana Mobile’s dApp Store now hosts more than 1,500 decentralized applications.
From roughly 700 to more than 1,500
According to the research findings, the store listed approximately 700 apps in March 2026. By June 25, 2026, that figure had climbed to 1,561.
That works out to more than a twofold increase in about three months.
In the single week leading up to June 25, 96 new applications were added to the store.
The store runs as a crypto-friendly marketplace that comes pre-installed on Seeker devices, Solana Mobile’s smartphone. Owners of other Android phones can still access it through sideloading, which means installing software from outside the default app store.
Why the zero-fee model is the real pitch
The dApp Store does not charge platform fees. That allows crypto payment flows to move through apps without the restrictions that typically come with mainstream mobile marketplaces.
The hardware side of the pitch is the Seeker itself. More than 150,000 Seeker smartphones have been shipped, according to the research findings, and those devices include secure key management systems.
What this means for Solana and the app store fight
The research findings suggest the dApp Store’s growth could carry implications for the broader Solana ecosystem. A zero-fee model and strong developer support could attract more builders and users, potentially increasing transaction volumes and utility on the network.
The research frames the expansion as a possible shift in the competitive landscape against mobile ecosystems dominated by Apple and Google.
There are a few things worth tracking from here. One is whether the weekly pace of new listings holds near the 96-app mark seen in late June. Another is whether Seeker shipments continue to grow beyond 150,000 units, expanding the audience that has the store by default.
