The Los Angeles Chargers fell to 0-6 following a 22-6 loss to the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 18.
The Chargers’ loss might finally result in some necessary changes entering their bye week.
Coach Jim Harbaugh made it known after the game that several things will be addressed during the break, especially on offense.
“We’re not scoring enough points,” Harbaugh said.
The Chargers produced 259 total yards in the loss, managing to score a field goal in the first and third quarters to produce their only points in the game.
Mike McDaniel was hired during the offseason to take on the play-calling responsibilities for quarterback Justin Herbert and the offense.
"We’re going to look at everything,” Harbaugh said when asked about McDaniel. “The job I'm doing, it starts with me. The plan is we’ll watch this and get with our offensive coaches. … (Offense) needs to be addressed."
Herbert had thrown one touchdown and at least one interception in each of the first five games this season. He did not throw a touchdown but did throw an interception against the Chiefs on Sunday.
He was also sacked four times for a loss of 18 yards. It was the third time he was sacked at least four times in a single game this season.
