Terry Lawrence Whitty, 50, of Florence, was originally charged with possession of a stolen Kia Rondo and two counts of breaching an undertaking and probation.
He eventually pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a release order by not attending court and breaching a probation order to not consume or possess alcohol or other intoxicating substance.
The possession of property obtained by crime charge was then dismissed.
Whitty was scheduled to be sentenced in Sydney provincial court last week. However, when he didn’t appear, the judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
The warrant is unendorsed, meaning police must hold Whitty in custody and bring him before the court.
