More GTA 6 footage has appeared from Cyberleek, but after failing to hit a $30 million crypto goal, it might be their final video.
GTA 6 has been subject to various leaks over the past few years, but the most invasive and damaging has been caused by the individual or group known as Cyberleek.
The leaker began posting clips in August, in what they claimed was a protest against the lack of physical disc version for GTA 6. However, they’ve been benefitting from crypto donations at the same time, and appeared to run off with around £200,000 a couple of months ago.
After disappearing into the ether, Cyberleek returned earlier this month with nude clips and another crypto incentive – promising they’ll release the full build of GTA 6, supposedly over 200GB in size, if the memecoin hit a $30 million (£22.8 million) market cap.
It turns out, people aren’t that interested in laying down donations to see a game that comes out in just over a month. After failing to hit the milestone, Cyberleek posted an update on their website (which has since been taken down), stating that the build will not be released.
However, they did release another video, the 20th in total, which they claim shows a clip from ‘the final missions’ but ‘out of context’ so they don’t spoil anything.

For obvious reasons we won’t share the clip here, but it initially shows Lucia visiting a barbershop, playing pool in a bar, and trying on outfits in a basketball shop to the song Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey.
Cyberleek announces the end of GTA 6 leaks after posting the 20th clip, but says the dead man’s switch is active and story spoilers including the ending will be published if Take-Two catches him:

“CL has the ending. It was considered. It would punish Take-Two greatly – but ruin… pic.twitter.com/MxsLT460WY
It then suddenly cuts to various transition shots over the game’s city landscape, which is presumably the sequence from the final mission. However, it’s so abstract, it could be pulled from any anywhere.
Cyberleek claims they do have the ending of GTA 6 in their possession, with story spoilers, but they won’t release it unless Take-Two or Rockstar decides to take action against them. ‘The dead man’s switch is active – story spoilers only,’ the post reads. ‘Left alone, it never fires. Whoever removes CL [Cyberleek] chooses it.’
It’s not clear if Cyberleek has thought about what will happen once GTA 6 does launch, making his threat redundant. However, Rockstar probably won’t want a playable build out there for free on the internet at any point, even if it is an early version.
It feels inevitable that Rockstar will catch up with them though, and that they won’t be let off lightly, which makes this whole endeavour thoroughly idiotic in the grand scheme.
Cyberleek concludes their statement with the promise that the ‘leeks stop here’, albeit ‘for now’, presumably in reference to if Rockstar makes moves against them or not. Hopefully though, this will be the actual end this time.
At the very least, we only have just over a month until GTA 6 leaks of any kind become obsolete, with the game set to launch across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on November 19, 2026.
