Mike Vrabel’s job is to get the best out of his players, even if that means challenging them on the sidelines. Vrabel did exactly that to Milton Williams during the Patriots’ Week 6 win against the Jets.
Williams told the media that Vrabel got into his ear, asking when he would see something from the defensive tackle.
"Just talking noise," Williams said about Vrabel. "Man, when are you going to get a sack? When are you going to get the quarterback on the ground?”
"Y'all know Vrabes man, he's a a**hole, he gon' be an a**hole and that's how he is, but I wouldn't have it no other way... he challenges us week in, week out, day in, day out. And I think that is going to continue to just help us get better and better as the year goes on." 👏 Milton Williams had this to say about HC Mike Vrabel after the Patriots win 😂

Williams had three tackles against the Jets. He also added one sack, his first of the season. Williams has 11 total tackles this year.
Vrabel believes in Williams, as he does in all of his players. Williams mentioned his unorthodox methods produce results.
"Y'all know Vrabes man, he's a a------, he gon' be an a------ and that's how he is, but I wouldn't have it no other way... he challenges us week in, week out, day in, day out. And I think that is going to continue to just help us get better and better as the year goes on," Williams said.
A third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Eagles, Williams signed a four-year deal with the Patriots in 2025. He had 29 tackles last season and was credited with 3.5 sacks.
