Popular Nigerian TikTok streamer Hamzat Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has announced plans to host a livestream with Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate.
Peller disclosed this during a TikTok livestream, saying Obi’s team had contacted him to arrange the session.
He, however, clarified that the proposed livestream was strictly for content creation and audience engagement, stressing that it should not be interpreted as an endorsement of Obi’s 2027 presidential ambition.

The streamer said he was neither supporting any presidential candidate nor asking Nigerians to vote for Obi, adding that the planned session would feature a question-and-answer interaction.
“Peter Obi’s people want to stream with me on TikTok. They want to do a stream with me on TikTok. Guys, listen, because una dey quick to judge person. I no tell una make una vote anybody.
“Me, I no be president supporter. Me, I just wan stream with them on my livestream on TikTok, question and answer. Make una give me questions to ask them and I go ask them. E no concern me,” he said.
Peller also invited his followers to submit questions for the proposed livestream, saying he would present their questions to Obi during the interaction.
He added that the session would focus on questions from his audience rather than personal issues, reiterating that his involvement was limited to facilitating the livestream and did not amount to political support for the former Anambra governor.
