Dreamland is coming, as the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Reno Lemaire’s French comic book lands on Crunchyroll as part of the autumn 2026 anime season.
The story of a young man able to traverse dreams (and nightmares) is a surreal and beautiful story that is about to become one of the most highly anticipated anime of the year.
What time are new Dreamland episodes out?
New episodes of Dreamland will air at 2am on Sundays in Japan according to the TV Aashi listings, which is 10am on Saturday Pacific Time. Though Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the series, they haven't confirmed exactly when it will appear in their library. We suspect it will be shortly after the Japanese broadcast concludes.
For fans in different time zones, the Dreamland release time is:
- Pacific Time- 10am on Saturday
- Eastern Time- 1pm on Saturday
- UK Time- 6pm on Saturday
- Central European Summer Time- 7pm on Saturday
- India Standard Time- 10:30pm on Saturday
- Philippine Time- 1am on Sunday

The Dreamland release schedule starts on 18 October in Japan, though, through the magic of time zones, fans in the US and UK will get new episodes starting on 17 October 2026. The first season will run for ten episodes.

Where can I watch Dreamland?
The Dreamland anime will be streaming in most territories on Crunchyroll. The series will also air on Animation Digital Network in France. This is due to it being produced by Ellipse Animation, a French studio.
Is Dreamland an anime?
Because it is being produced by a French studio and is adapted from a French comic book, it doesn’t technically fall into the anime category. However, the series is clearly influenced by anime storytelling and art and is airing on Japanese television at the same time as the French broadcast, so it feels like an honorary part of the autumn 2026 anime season.
