Tennessee is eager to get back on track after two losses in exhibition games. The Vols fell 86-70 at home to Xavier on Oct. 15 and were routed in a road contest at No. 2 Duke, 103-64, on Oct. 20.
In stark contrast to teams assembled by coach Rick Barnes during his 12 years at UT, the Vols have struggled mightily to rebound and defend in the preseason. They have limited time to get those issues solved before the games start to count against their record.
The Vols will be back at Food City Center for the regular season opener vs. Wofford on Nov. 3 (7 p.m. ET, SEC Network).
