Hana Bank Wins Global Best Innovative PB Bank

(Provided by Hana Bank)  Hana Bank won the Global Best Innovative PB Bank award at the 36th Global PB Awards hosted by the global financial media outlet Private Banker International (PBI) on Oct. 8. This award is the 15th overall achievement for Hana Bank since it became the first commercial bank in Korea to win the Best PB Bank in East Asia award in 2012. At the awards ceremony held in Singapore, PBI highly evaluated Hana Bank's customer-centric specialized solutions and comprehensive asset management services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. In particular, the ability to provide customized services encompassing both financial and non-financial sectors was cited as a major reason for the selection. The bank also achieved an outstanding performance in the individual category. Following its seventh consecutive win of the Best Private Banker in Asia award, it also won the Rising Star in Private Banking award, which recognizes next-generation talents, for the fifth time overall. PBI, which hosted the awards, is a specialized media outlet that has been holding the global private banking awards annually since 1987. The Global Wealth Awards they operate is evaluated as one of the awards ceremonies with the longest history and tradition in the field. A representative from the Wealth Management Group at Hana Bank stated that the bank is proactively responding to rapid market changes based on customer-centric services, adding that it will faithfully perform its role as a lifelong financial partner for customers by continuously strengthening its comprehensive asset management capabilities that encompass both financial and non-financial sectors.
