Como suffered their first ever Champions League defeat, as after Assane Diao opened the scoring and got injured, Feyenoord turned it around for a 3-2 result in Rotterdam.
The Lariani crushed RB Leipzig 4-1 on their Champions League debut and this was the historic first ever UEFA away fixture for the club, accompanied by 1,050 fans. Moise Kean was injured, so Cesc Fabregas opted for Nico Paz as a False 9 and moved Bruno Kaiki into a more advanced role with Robert Sanchez’s second appearance for the Italians.
Feyenoord lost 5-1 to Barcelona, but were top of the Eredivisie. Goncalo Borges, Shaqueel van Persie, Bart Nieuwkoop, Reiss Nelson, Gijs Smal, Jakub Moder, Jordan Bos and Thomas Beelen missed out, with Tsuyoshi Watanabe only fit for the bench.
See how it all unfolded on the Liveblog.
Trevoh Chalobah intercepted a dangerous Givairo Read pull-back from the right by-line, but Como took the lead when Assane Diao ran onto a long Jacobo Ramon ball from midfield, shrugged off Javi Lopez and cut inside to curl a left-foot finish past the goalkeeper one-on-one.
It barely lasted 120 seconds before Gijvai Zechiel controlled with his back to goal, turned Maxi Perrone and smashed in a screamer from the edge of the area.
Diao limped off with a muscular issue that he may well have suffered when scoring the goal, replaced by Jesus Rodriguez after just 23 minutes.

Martin Baturina’s snapshot from distance stung the Feyenoord goalkeeper’s gloves, while Sanchez parried the Givairo Read daisy-cutter that had gone through the legs of offside Mika Marmol.
Feyenoord turned the game around after the restart, as Anis Hadj Moussa cut inside from the right and drilled left-footed into the near bottom corner, between Kaiki and the glove of Sanchez.

Cesc Fabregas made a triple substitution and it almost paid off immediately, as Tasos Douvikas nodded an Alex Valle cross over from six yards, then Lucas Da Cunha’s snapshot was smothered by Tjark Ernst.
Nico Paz set up Jesus Rodriguez, who couldn’t get it under control inside the penalty area, then nobody was ready to meet the Hadj Moussa roll across the face of goal.
There was also a Nico Paz give and go with Maxi Perrone to drill just wide, but Sanchez got a fingertip to push the Hadj Moussa strike onto the upright from the tightest of angles.

Feyenoord extended their lead to 3-1 with a remarkable bit of luck. Read robbed Jesus Rodriguez, but Hadj Moussa saw his strike from the edge of the area take a massive deflection off Jacobo Ramon, it bounced off the upright and ricocheted in off Sanchez’s back.
Como tried to the end, Nico Paz firing wide and Mattia Liberali stinging the goalkeeper’s gloves. They did pull one back with practically the last kick of the game, as Mika Marmol made a mess of intercepting the long ball, so Tasos Douvikas pounced on the rebound to blast home.
