Jennifer Lawrence will always make a trend entirely hers. Last night, the Die My Love star stepped out in the steamy New York City fall weather for an elegant date night with husband Cooke Maroney.
For her base, Lawrence chose a black silk maxi dress with a high slit at the center. The flowy piece swished with her as she walked. And to further elevate the already elevated staple, she layered on a boxy black tweed jacket with a pretty round neckline, seemingly from Chanel.
A chunky beaded necklace, matching dangly earrings, a black-and-gold clutch, and an updo rounded out the posh outfit, but for a final touch of J.Law, the actor slipped on a pair of one of her favorite shoes of the moment: the Row’s Stella flats in black leather.
Maroney suited up for the night in a light-gray set including a double-breasted blazer. He layered it over a crisp white button-up and finished off the look with black dress shoes.
The two held hands and chatted as they walked into a restaurant in the city for their intimate dinner.
The couple’s sophisticated date night came as they are getting ready to celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary. Lawrence met her art gallery director beau in June 2018, through a mutual friend, and the two fell in love quickly, marrying just over a year later, on October 19, 2019. Now, the couple shares two sons (Cy, born in February 2022, and another boy whose name has not been disclosed, born in early 2025).
