President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning, Doris Uzoka-Anite, on her birthday, commending her contributions to the Federal Government’s economic reform agenda.
In a birthday message issued on Friday, the President described Uzoka-Anite as a public servant whose professional experience and contributions to economic policymaking had supported efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s economy and improve citizens’ welfare.
Tinubu acknowledged her role in the country’s budgeting process, particularly in promoting fiscal sustainability, economic stability, sound financial management and an enabling environment for investment and sustainable growth.
He urged the minister to sustain her commitment to the implementation of the administration’s policies and programmes.
“Doris, as a member of the Renewed Hope administration, I urge you to sustain your commitment to the implementation of our policies and programmes which are designed to build a stronger, more resilient, and inclusive economy,” the President said.
He wished her good health, wisdom and many more years of fruitful service to the country.
Uzoka-Anite previously served as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment and Minister of State for Finance before her current role at the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
