How exactly does a supermodel prepare for the runway? It's no secret Victoria's Secret's angels prepare months in advance with rigorous fitness routines, targeted nutrition, and a holistic approach to wellbeing. And when it comes to beauty, the regimen is just as robust. Just ask Ashley Graham, who, in the lead up to the show, dedicated three days to getting her skin runway-ready.
Having joined the ranks in 2024, when the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show officially returned to our screens after being cancelled in 2019, Graham has established herself as one of the runway's most formidable angels. For her third consecutive appearance, the seasoned supermodel called in the reinforcements to help her gear up for the show, namely with the help of master facialist and Grazia Beauty Panellist, Michaella Bolder.
Renowned for her work on a flurry of A-listers, Bolder flew over to Los Angeles ahead of the show to tend to Graham's skin with her signature facial massaging techniques and an arsenal of products, which included all-new skincare from breakout brand No.98.
'I had three days to get Ashley runway-ready, and the new No.98 collection was the first thing into my LA kit. I got my hands on it just before flying out,' explains Bolder, who has just launched her very own at-home facial platform, The Bolder Movement.
Breaking down exactly how she got to work on Graham's face, Bolder says, 'Each session started with the No.98 Beauty The // Mask, £14, applied on fresh clean skin. It’s the slickest golden glow treatment perfect to prep and plump the skin, giving it a real boost of hydration before I started any hands-on work.'
The mask marks the brand's first foray into skincare, after establishing itself as a key player in the haircare space and becoming a go-to for the likes of Zendaya, Rebel Wilson, and Naomi Watts. Much like its hair essentials, like the celebrity favourite The Glass // Anti-Frizz Hydration, the mask is rooted in a results-driven, high-performance approach to beauty.
'Next came No98 Beauty The // Moisturiser to begin my facial massage protocol. This balmy hydration cream allows for effortless movement to glide around the face, neck and chest while the skin absorbs its peptides and ceramides leaving the dreamiest luminous finish,' says Bolder, but you'll have to wait to try this new comer as it lands online in December 2026.
To finish, Bolder seals the deal with the No98 Beauty The // Face Oil, £35, another upcoming launch which will be available to shop from next month. 'It is the heart of my sculpting facial massage,' she notes, 'I warm it between my palms, take a few breaths and press it into the skin. Focusing on lymphatic drainage and tension release through the jaw, cheekbones, brow bone and neck. It adds a light absorbent slip so I can work without dragging on the skin.'
The result? 'It’s exactly what you want under runway lights and gives the glam team the most beautiful canvas to work on,' Bolder adds. Could this in fact be Victoria's secret? We think so.
