The Oregon football team's College Football Playoff hopes and all the preseason hype that came with it stand on the brink barely halfway through October.
Imagine hearing that in August, when the Ducks (3-2, 1-1 Big Ten Conference) were preseason No. 2 in the polls and talking heads pushed UO as a clear national championship contender. Instead, Oregon has two losses and is looking to put a putrid offensive performance in a home loss to UCLA to bed against an upstart Nebraska (5-1, 2-1) squad looking to spring an upset.
The Register-Guard will have live updates, highlights and photos plus postgame coverage from Nebraska at Oregon. Come back to follow along.
