Juve are top of the Europa League table with a 100 per cent record thanks to Thursday’s 2-1 comeback victory away to Celta Vigo, but have stuttered in Serie A.
With just one win in the last four rounds, including a defeat to Sassuolo, draws against Milan and Cagliari, they need to catch up with the leading pack.
Their injury crisis remains extensive, missing Kenan Yildiz, Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram, Jeff Ekhator and Kamil Grabara, but Jeremie Boga is available again.
There aren’t many options for squad rotation, Douglas Luiz and Kolo Muani returning to the starting XI, with Pape Matar Sarr in midfield.
Coach Luciano Spalletti is forced to watch from the stands, as he faces a touchline ban for his disagreement with Cagliari boss Fabio Pisacane.

Gennaro Gattuso has had a truly surprising start to the season with Lazio, as after crashing out of the Coppa Italia, they’ve won five games and drawn 2-2 with Milan.
It put them joint top of the table with Inter going into this weekend, despite having their own share of injury issues.
Albert Gudmundsson, Matteo Cancellieri, Nicolò Rovella, Alessio Furlanetto and Adam Marusic miss out, but Luca Pellegrini is on the bench against his old club.
Nuno Tavares scored a stunning goal last week and is partnered by Bosko Sutalo in defence, while Frattesi takes the midfield reins again with freedom to surge forward.
Tijjani Noslin is preferred to Andrea Pinamonti upfront with Gustav Isaksen and captain Zaccagni.
Lazio are unbeaten in their last three meetings with Juve, managing a victory and two stalemates.
