Almost 40 Highland dancers from across the South converged in Arrowtown on Saturday, for the Queenstown Highland Dance Club’s third annual competition.
Held at the village’s Athenaeum Hall, and adjudicated by Fiona Cording and Maddie McBride, classes ranged from under-7 to open and included five Otago championships: U9 Irish jig, U14 sword dance, U18 Irish and sailor’s hornpipe and open seann triubhas. Photos: Tracey Roxburgh
