Denver recorded multiple sacks in a home game for the 22nd consecutive time, including postseason contests, establishing the longest streak of its kind in the Super Bowl era, which began in 1966. The achievement puts the Broncos ahead of several historic NFL franchises and highlights the consistency of a defence that continues to make life difficult for opposing quarterbacks.
With the win over Seattle, Denver improved to 4-2 on the season and strengthened its reputation as one of the league’s most disruptive defensive teams.

Broncos surpass Raiders and Cardinals with historic streak
The Broncos’ latest achievement places them at the top of the NFL record books for consecutive home games with at least two sacks in the Super Bowl era.
Before Denver’s historic run, the Raiders and Cardinals had each recorded multiple sacks in 20 consecutive home games. The Rams and Panthers also put together impressive streaks, accomplishing the feat 17 times in a row.
However, Denver has now reached 22 straight home games with two or more sacks, setting a new benchmark for defensive consistency.
The streak reflects the Broncos’ ability to generate pressure regardless of their opponent. Their performance against Seattle offered another example of how effectively the defence can disrupt an opposing offence and change the course of a game.

Denver defense dominates Seahawks in Thursday night win

Denver’s defense delivered a standout performance against the defending Super Bowl champions, putting Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold under constant pressure throughout the contest.
The Broncos sacked Darnold five times, intercepted two of his passes and recorded 17 quarterback hits. Their relentless pressure helped limit Seattle to just 14 points, allowing Denver to secure a narrow three-point victory.
The result demonstrated the importance of Denver’s defensive unit, which has continued to produce game-changing plays while extending its historic home streak.
At 4-2, the Broncos will now turn their attention to Week 7, when they travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals next Sunday.
Following that matchup, Denver will return home in Week 8 to take on the Kansas City Chiefs, presenting another opportunity to extend its NFL-leading streak.
With the defence continuing to set records, the Broncos will look to maintain their momentum and establish themselves as a serious contender as the season progresses.
