Taylor Swift, 36, stuns in strapless gown at star-studded event

Taylor Swift looked every inch a Hollywood leading lady as she stepped out in a breathtaking ice-blue gown at the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 17.

The 36-year-old superstar stole the spotlight in the ethereal strapless custom Dior creation, which featured a dramatic crystal-encrusted bow at the bodice and a sweeping, floor-length skirt.

The Opalite singer appeared radiant as she posed for photographers at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, where she joined some of Hollywood's biggest names for the prestigious event.

Her stunning gown featured intricate pleating across the fitted bodice, which flowed into an elegant, voluminous skirt with exaggerated hips and a delicate train.

Tiny sparkling embellishments were scattered across the pale blue fabric, catching the light as she made her way along the red carpet.

Taylor completed the fairytale look with dazzling diamond earrings, a delicate bracelet and sparkling rings, allowing the exquisite dress to take centre stage.

Her blonde hair was styled in a vintage-inspired shoulder-length bob, with glossy curls and softly swept bangs framing her face.

She added her signature dramatic winged eyeliner, rosy cheeks and a soft pink lip, giving her glamorous ensemble a distinctly old Hollywood feel.

The singer posed confidently for the cameras, turning to reveal the beautifully structured back of her gown and its flowing skirt.

Taylor's appearance was particularly significant as she had been announced as the evening's musical performer, bringing her star power to one of Hollywood's most exclusive annual celebrations.

The Academy Museum Gala, which raises funds to support film exhibitions, screenings and educational programmes, honoured three major figures in the entertainment industry this year.

Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron received the Icon Award, while actor Colman Domingo was recognised with the Vantage Award and legendary filmmaker John Carpenter received the Luminary Award.

Among the stars in attendance were Jessica Lange, Pamela Anderson, Kate Hudson, Eva Longoria and Jessica Biel, who all showcased their own stunning red carpet looks.
