It jumped to 9th place from 23rd in 2025 as the average alumni salary increased 83%.
The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School’s Executive MBA (EMBA) programme climbed to ninth place in the Financial Times (FT) Executive MBA Ranking 2026, up from 23rd in 2025.
NUS said the ranking marked the programme’s first entry into the global top 10 and its highest position since it began participating in the annual rankings in 2008.
The university attributed the achievement to strong NUS EMBA alumni salary outcomes, reporting an average salary of $693,759 (US$542,224) three years after graduation, up from $476,318 (US$372,278) in 2025.
This placed the programme third amongst the global top 10 for average alumni salary, with graduates earning 83% more than before completing the programme, NUS said.
NUS Business School also rose 22 places to sixth globally in FT’s research ranking, which measures faculty publications in 50 leading academic and practitioner journals, adjusted for faculty size.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW
Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.
Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.
We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.
If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
