Tuesday is new Billboard chart day each week! As all charts update each Tuesday, here’s a look at highlights of the latest rankings, dated Oct. 24 and reflecting the Oct. 9-15 measurement week, according to data tracker Luminate.
Among this week’s chart stars are Dominic Fike, Ashe, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Ella Langley.
Fike earns his first top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 as “Babydoll” climbs to No. 10, while Ashe notches her first top 10 on both Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and the Billboard Global 200 with “Stop the Wedding!,” up to Nos. 6 and 10 on the charts, respectively. The latter also becomes her first top 40 hit on the Hot 100, jumping to No. 34.
Both acts first reached Billboard rankings in the 2010s, with “Babydoll” newly viral this year after it was released in 2018. The song also enters the top five on the Radio Songs chart.
On Emerging Artists, Ashe lifts to a new No. 3 high — in her 52nd nonconsecutive week on the chart. She’s the second artist this year to make the top three after an ascent of more than a year’s worth of time on the survey, after Ty Myers did so in his 75th week in April. Myers’ rise was powered by his breakthrough hit “Ends of the Earth,” which hit the top 20 on Hot Country Songs.

The record has fallen on other multimetric charts in recent years, “reflecting a landscape,” as R&B/hip-hop chart analyst Trevor Anderson notes, “in which big hits become entrenched in consistent streaming performance and radio airplay cycles that led to extensive, chart-topping runs.”
-
Ella Langley
After her “Choosin’ Texas” ran up a record 24 weeks atop the Hot 100, it adds a 26th week at No. 1 on Streaming Songs, tying Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the longest command in the chart’s history.
-

Written by Alaina, Jimmy Gutch, Ben Johnson and Whitney Phillips, the song draws on a relationship from Alaina’s early 20s. “I was living in Nashville,” she told Billboard last year, “and dating other country music artists and other people in the business, and comedians … all the wrong people, basically.”
Now 31, Alaina was speaking while changing diapers for her newborn daughter. “It’s actually hilarious,” she chuckled, “that this is our current single.”
