As the Los Angeles Chargers continue to pile on the losses this season, fans are focusing their frustration on Justin Herbert's fiancee, singer Madison Beer.
On Sunday, the Chargers gave fans a reason for optimism, taking a 17-10 lead in the third quarter. From there, Bo Nix and the Broncos outscored them 13-0 in the fourth quarter to claim a 23-17 victory and keep Herbert's Chargers winless.
Herbert completed 14 of 24 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown, but also had two costly turnovers in the loss. He fumbled the ball and then threw an interception in the Chargers' scoreless fourth quarter.
Ahead of the season, Herbert made headlines after announcing his engagement to Beer. A video of the couple cozying up to one another during Chargers training camp attracted attention on social media and is now drawing backlash after the team's 0-5 start.

On Sunday evening, Barstool Sports shared the video again, reminding everyone that the Chargers have not won a game since the clip first surfaced online. Fans took to the comments section to blame Beer for Herbert's struggles and the Chargers' disappointing start to the season.
"She’s worse than the Madden curse, because being hurt by Madden sucks, but skills still exist.. with Madison, you are healthy but end up playing like [expletive]," a commenter wrote.
"That man head over heels in love her whole thing she got going on got him all types of [expletive] up," another individual commented.
"At this point that video needs to be studied like a curse tablet. Chargers fans did nothing to deserve this timeline," someone wrote.
Others commented, "Why would the charger organization even let this happen?" and "Bro is drained of his physical prowess and arm accuracy."
Beer and Herbert were only dating last year, when the Chargers had a successful season. A Page Six report spotlighted how she attended a Chargers game to celebrate her mother's birthday at SoFi Stadium last November. The Chargers won 31-14 as Herbert completed 15 of 20 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns.
And the Chargers finished the season 11-6 with a spot in the NFL playoffs. That could be a tough task for this season's team, which looks like it's facing an uphill battle.
Things won't get much easier for the Chargers, who next face Patrick Mahomes and the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs coming off their bye week on Sunday, Oct. 18.
