Jantar Mantar has been removed from the list of designated protest sites in Delhi, ANI quoted a police order as stating on Sunday.
It was de-notified as a protest site based on recommendations made by a committee constituted by the Union home ministry, the police was quoted as saying.
The police designated three alternative venues for protests: Ramlila Ground in central Delhi, Burari Ground in northern Delhi and CBD Ground in eastern Delhi’s Shahdara area.
