At a press conference held at Tamala Beach Resort, the leadership of Team Gambia Grand Coalition 2026 spelt out the mission, vision and promises of the Coalition.
VISION
A peaceful, sovereign and prosperous Gambia is in view where power owned, freely and fairly entrusted by fifty plus one percent of the voters to public trustees, would enable them to exercise legitimate authority to harness and utilise the wealth of the country for the upliftment of all Gambians above the poverty line within five years of a coalition administration.
MISSION
Answering to the call of duty, we vow to put all differences aside and, in the supreme interest of The Gambia and the people, mobilize a team of Gambians who truly love and are faithful to their country and people, to build a grand coalition with a sense of mission to take back the power and wealth of The Gambia, through the ballot box, from those who have centralized them in the hands of leaders for sixty one years, and hand them back to the people, who are the true owners of power and national wealth. In short, we consider ourselves bound to the mission to ensure and assure that future leaders would never again serve more than two-five-year terms, and an economy is built to elevate every Gambian above the poverty line within five years.
