Abdallah Sima and Jonathan Gradit are the two major absentees as RC Lens prepare to face Sporting CP in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening. Yannick Cahuzac’s side are looking to build on their win against Sparta Prague last time out.
Sima was injured while away on international duty and will not be operational until the end of November. Gradit featured on Friday during the slender 2-1 win over Olympique Lyonnais. The nature of Gradit’s injury was not revealed, but he underwent tests on Monday night. Maik Nawrocki remains out with an ACL.
Jean-Clair Todibo and Thorgan Hazard were both left out of the squad this weekend but both are now available. The former was left out as he is still building his fitness; the latter’s absence was purely a managerial decision.
