Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has abolished ticket fees for commercial tricycle operators, popularly known as Keke riders, across the state.
Mbah announced the decision on Saturday during an event at Okpara Square in Enugu, alongside an extension of the approved operating hours for tricycle operators.
Under the new arrangement, Keke operators can continue transporting passengers until 10pm, allowing them to provide services later into the evening.

The abolition of ticket fees is expected to ease the financial burden on commercial tricycle operators, while the extended operating hours will give them more time to serve commuters.
