The next big Apple launch event is just around the corner. Apple's marketing chief Greg Joswiak has officially invited everyone to the "Pro and tell" event, where the main attraction is expected to be the all-new MacBook Pro with a significantly lighter, slightly thinner chassis, OLED touchscreen and Dynamic Island.

Shortly after Apple unveiled HomeView ($299 on Amazon) and the new Apple TV 4K, the next launch event is already on the way. Greg Joswiak, Senior Vice President of Marketing, officially invites customers to the event in the X post embedded below, which will take place next week under the slogan "Pro and tell".
While the exact date has not yet been confirmed, rumors point to a launch on October 27 or 28, i.e. next Tuesday or Wednesday. The focus of this launch event is no secret, as multiple sources have been suggesting for months that Apple will launch an all-new MacBook Pro this fall. Apple's flagship laptop is expected to receive a completely redesigned chassis for the first time in five years, which is said to be only slightly thinner but significantly lighter. The large notch will reportedly be replaced by a punch-hole, while Apple is expected to equip a Mac with an OLED panel and a touchscreen for the first time.
Disappointingly, Apple is expected to use the familiar Apple M5 Pro and M5 Max as the company reportedly has no plans for an M6 Pro or M6 Max. MacBook Pros with more modern processors are not expected until fall 2027. In addition, the iMac and the most affordable 14-inch MacBook Pro with the old design are expected to receive an upgrade to the Apple M6 at next week's launch event, while the iPad mini is also expected to get a successor with a more modern processor and an OLED display, although the mini tablet may use an outdated 60 Hz panel.
