Kaizer Chiefs have been boosted by the return to the squad of both Brandon Petersen and Rushwin Dortley.
KAIZER CHIEFS BOOSTED BY THE RETURN OF PETERSEN AND DORTLEY
Petersen had been sidelined since mid-September with Fernando da Cruz handing Renaldo Leaner his Amakhosi debut.
Leaner has since featured in three matches for Chiefs, and with Petersen now back, it remains to be seen as to who Da Cruz goes with against Red Arrows in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Glamour Boys host the Zambian outfit in the second leg of the competition at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Kick-off is at 18:00.
As reported by The South African, Chiefs need to beat Red Arrows by a two-goal margin in order to advance to the group stage.
Meanwhile, left centre-back Dortley is also in Durban with the rest of his Chiefs teammates, and he could be given some minutes.
Dortley has not featured for the team since February 2025 as he had been nursing a knee injury which required surgery.
Da Cruz recently said while Dortley is working on his match fitness, the technical team will not rush him back.
