The Liberation is set to be released in January.
The 70th edition of the British Film Institute (BFI) London Film Festival started on Wednesday and will run through to Sunday, October 18.
Organised by the BFI, the UK's biggest cinematic celebration features 251 film titles from 88 countries alongside red carpet world premieres, immersive media installations and exclusive screen talks.
Elsewhere during the film festival, Lily cut an elegant figure at The Liberation gala screening at Vue West End on Saturday night.
The actress wowed in a strapless white gown as she joined Bella Ramsey at the premiere.
She elevated her frame in a pair of silver metallic heels and styled her blonde locks poker straight.
Lily's appearance comes after she revealed she was 'beyond burned out' and 'losing the joy' before taking a break from acting to go on a 'solo trip of a lifetime'.
She has starred in back-to-back films including Cinderella, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Pride and Prejudice, Baby Driver and more since she was 21.

And to reset, Lily headed on an eight-month-long adventure in Cambodia where she 'recharged' and 'found a new source of inspiration'.
Speaking to Flaunt magazine, she said: 'I've worked pretty consistently since I was 21, and I was beginning to just feel so even beyond burned out. I was scared I was losing the joy and losing that kind of fire.
'I really had to be honest with myself. I've had an incredible time [going on] different kinds of adventures, owning my time, and taking the reins back of my life.'
She added: 'You have to recharge. I think going from one job to the next, not only was I feeling like I wasn't recharging or finding new sources of inspiration, but also blink, and you've missed a year.'
