Breaking It Down
In the wake of rising scrutiny around crypto exchanges, Kraken has taken a significant step by addressing its policies on user inquiries concerning Monero (XMR) withdrawals. Sethi’s remarks came after the platform sent emails to clients requesting details about their employers and the intended use of the funds. This approach drew criticism, especially since no regulatory requirement necessitated such inquiries. The decision to withdraw these requests is seen as a move to align with user expectations for privacy and autonomy in managing their funds.
