The Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (NUNS) strongly condemned the threats of sexual violence directed at journalists Nenad Kulacin and Marko Vidojkovicć, hosts of the program “Good, Bad, Evil,” as well as at Kulacin’s wife, emphasizing that the mention of a specific date in the messages - October 26 - is particularly alarming.

The threats were posted on the social media platform X from the account @TUCKOBUSICzett. In addition to explicit references to sexual violence, the messages also announce retaliation against the journalists and their family members following the elections, NUNS said.
The Association warned that threats involving family members constitute a particularly alarming form of intimidation, extending the targeting of journalists to those closest to them. It emphasized that such messages must not be downplayed or treated as ordinary social media discourse, particularly when they follow a long history of previous threats and attacks.
NUNS recalled that Kulacin and Vidojkovic have been subjected to intimidation campaigns for years because of their public and journalistic work, which has prompted Vidojkovic to leave Serbia, while Kulacin continues to work in the country despite repeated attacks.
The lack of visible progress in identifying and prosecuting those responsible may further embolden perpetrators and contribute to an atmosphere in which threats against journalists are perceived as acts that carry no consequences, NUNS cautioned.
The Association called on the relevant prosecutor’s office and the police to treat these threats with the utmost seriousness, taking into account their explicit content, the ongoing pattern of intimidation, and the fact that a specific date for a potential attack has been mentioned.
