Ukraine Confirms Hits on Proton Plant, Tolyatti and Yeysk Airfield

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed precision strikes conducted on Oct. 23 and overnight into Oct. 24 targeting key military-industrial and aviation assets inside Russia. Hits were verified against the main production facility of JSC Proton-Elektroteks in Oryol, disrupting the manufacturing of components for Iskander-M ballistic missiles, S-71 cruise missiles, and Pantsir-S1 systems. Ukrainian forces also struck the Tolyattikauchuk petrochemical plant in Samara region, which produces synthetic rubber for solid rocket propellant, and engaged an aircraft at the Yeysk military airfield in Krasnodar region.
