Barcelona’s 2026-27 away kit tipped to be ‘pure Los Angeles Lakers’

Barcelona are being tipped to launch a new away kit for the 2027-28 season that will “exclusively honor the Los Angeles Lakers, featuring a distinct yellow and purple color scheme.”

The latest update comes from Footy Headlines and an “exclusive leak” that claims Barca’s away kit “will pay direct homage to the Los Angeles Lakers.”

Barcelona have produced a couple of Nike vs Kobe Bryant Mamba kits, including this season’s black and purple away outfit.

The club are now said to be ready to take “basketball inspiration to the forefront” in order to produce an eye-catching kit that will be “pure Lakers.”

Barcelona are no strangers to wearing yellow as the club have regularly produced Senyera kits, paying tribute to the club’s Catalan identity, but pairing yellow and purple would be a first.
