The Los Angeles Chargers are having a disastrous start to the 2026 season, as they have a brutal 0-5 record.
The Chargers will be looking to get things back on track against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs in their Week 6 game on Sunday. Now, as the Chargers prepare for their game against the Chiefs, they have gotten some good news regarding one of their injured stars.
According to ESPN's Ian Rapoport, Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt received good news from a specialist about his neck injury and is expected to "ramp up this week." In addition, Rapoport reported that Alt will be returning to the field soon for the Chargers.

Hearing that Alt is inching closer to returning is undoubtedly good news for the Chargers. The 6-foot-8 offensive tackle is a key part of the Chargers' roster, and they should benefit from when he officially returns to game action. Furthermore, with Alt being just 23 years old, it is important for him to continue to gain more NFL experience for his development.
Alt has played in four games this season for Chargers. This was after he was a Pro Bowler for the first time in his three-year NFL career this past campaign.
