Discussions focused on international commitments to protecting biodiversity, conserving ecosystems, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, advancing cooperation, sharing expertise and building capacity.
Kuwait also emphasised the importance of strengthening international and regional partnerships and linking biodiversity protection with environmental security and sustainable development, she added.
