The World Series starts on Friday with Jacob Misiorowski likely facing off against Drew Rasmussen in Game 1.
Rasmussen, Freddy Peralta and Nick Martinez have performed well in October and have, quite frankly, been better than Misiorowski, Logan Henderson and Robert Gasser.
However, they could face some problems against a pesky Brewers lineup.
Here are the Brewers' current hitters' numbers against each of the Rays' top three starters in their careers:

Vs. Rasmussen
- 12-for-48
- .752 OPS
- 3 HR
- 3 BB
Vs. Peralta
- 13-for-36
- 1.034 OPS
- 2 HR
- 3 BB
Vs. Martinez
- 30-for-122
- .737 OPS
- 6 HR
- 4 BB
Those numbers are totals for the Brewers' 13 position players for the World Series combined against each starter. However, those totals lack context.
The Brewers have faced each of those pitchers once this season and the numbers are not so great. Additionally, when the Brewers faced Peralta, he was on the New York Mets and had not yet been fixed by the Rays.
Against Peralta this season, the Brewers had eight hits, including three doubles and two home runs. Against Rasmussen, the Brewers had three hits, and one of those was a home run by Brice Turang. Against Martinez, the Brewers had four hits, including one double and one home run.
The Rays' top three starters may not have the best numbers in their career against the 13 players they may see in the Fall Classic, but this year they have had the edge. The Brewers have never faced this version of Peralta, so that could be the most pivotal matchup of the series.
