Provincial Minister for Women Development Sindh Shaheena Sher Ali met with Muneezeh Khan, Resident Director of Aurat Publication and Information Service Foundation at her office to discuss women’s development, protection of rights, gender equality and women’s empowerment.
During the meeting, Provincial Minister Shaheena Sher Ali said that the social and economic stability of women is very important, keeping in mind, the Sindh government is working on women’s development, economic and social empowerment and empowered roles. She said that the cooperation of welfare and non-governmental organizations for the welfare of women has always been valuable, however, there is a need to publish articles and writings in various journals and magazines to raise awareness about women’s problems, so there is a need to work on writings related to women’s problems, their solutions and suggestions. The meeting also emphasized joint efforts for the welfare of women.
