The Brazilian player has been handed a four-match ban, meaning he would miss the games against Sevilla, Barcelona in El Clásico, Racing and Valencia.
Vinicius has been handed a two-match suspension "for violent conduct unrelated to play, with no possibility of challenging for the ball or while play was stopped."
In addition, the Brazilian receives a further two-match ban for "protesting to the referee, assistant referee or fourth official, with additional fines pursuant to Article 52 of the Disciplinary Code."
