Nathan Tillis did it again.
After achieving his first perfect game against Matanzas in August, the University senior ended the high school bowling regular season with another 300 on Oct. 13.
He rolled 12 consecutive strikes during the Titans’ 7-0 victory over Trinity Christian at AMF Deltona Lanes. Fittingly, it was Senior Night.
Tillis described the feeling of completing his first 300 in an interview with the News-Journal last month.
“Whenever I threw that last shot, I just was so excited, so pumped up. … It was pure excitement,” he said. “It was amazing. There’s no other feeling like that.”
Tillis and the rest of his teammates will head to Bowl 360 in Tavares for the District 4-1A Tournament on Oct. 20.
