The Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 is a high-end laptop. The entire shell is made of CNC-milled aluminum construction, which keeps the weight down to just 4.3 pounds, with premium accents like a huge glass touchpad. The gorgeous 16" 2.5K ROG Nebula OLED display boasts a fast 0.2ms response time, 240Hz refresh rate (which you can actually make use of with the 5090 GPU), and G-Sync compatibility. Rounding out the rest of the specs are an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H 5.4GHz 16-core CPU, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 2TB SSD.
The RTX 5090 is the most powerful mobile GPU available. This particular variant runs at a reduced 120W TGP to keep the heat down, but you'll be able to run any game at 60fps and beyond on the 2.5K display, even with all your settings bumped up. You can also turn on ray tracing and get playable framerates, especially in games that support DLSS 4.5.
The mobile 5090 also has 24GB of VRAM. Although that's less than the 32GB of the desktop 5090, that's the same amount of VRAM found in the desktop 4090 and more than any other NVIDIA card. If you're looking for a powerful yet mobile AI platform, the ROG Zephyrus G16 is worth consdering especially at this price.
