The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has organized a training and talent identification camp for 150 female hockey players from across the country at the Islamabad Sports Complex.
The camp is being conducted under the supervision of senior Dutch coaches Richard Snijder and Robert Justus, who are assessing players for selection to Pakistan’s senior and junior women’s national teams.
According to a PHF statement, the players are undergoing intensive training, screening, and evaluation to identify emerging talent.
The assessment covers technical skills, physical fitness, tactical understanding, and overall playing potential. The participants are also receiving guidance and mentoring from the Dutch coaches throughout the process.
The federation said the initiative aims to identify promising players, strengthen the national talent pool, and support the long-term development of women’s hockey in Pakistan.
